Three generations! Mr. Lorenz Egger and Rosa; Mr. Erich Egger and Reiny; Mr. Klaus Egger and Mia

Ladys and gentleman, my name is Klaus Egger, I am 31 years old and since October 27, 2005 I've been running the campsite Camping Moosbauer together with my wife Mia. You start thinking about age and how old you are only then when you compare it with other year dates. For 15 years my grandpa and for a total of 33 years my parents have been running this business! This means that almost half of the time this campsite has existed I haven't witnessed. My wife and I however know that what we have got by our parents and grandparents can't be taken for granted. But let me tell you a little story now:

Once there was a king also known as the righteous, the just. At the time when the Prophet Muhammad was born, the king was travelling across his realm. One day he saw a respectable old man working on a sunny hill with his back bowed down by age. Followed by his royal household, the king came closer to the man and saw that he was planting one year old cuttings.
The king asked: “What are you doing?”
“I'm planting walnut trees”, so the old man.
The king was wondering: “But you are an old man already. So why are you planting those cuttings? You won't see their leaves turning green. You won't be able to rest under their shadowy branches. And you won't be able to eat their fruit.”
The old man straightened up, looked into the king's eyes and said: “Those living before us planted cuttings and we could harvest them. Now it is my turn to plant cuttings so that those coming after me have something to harvest.”
So he said and continued planting the cuttings.

Thank you my dear parents! You have planted for us! We will accept our responsibility and plant new cuttings.

50 years are reason enough for a marvellous celebration. Numerous events, highlights and special offers will characterise this year. In parts there are detailed information already, in parts we still keep them secret so that there is always something to look forward to. And as a German saying says: There is no greater joy than anticipation!

And afterwards? What will happen after this year? Oh yeah, we keep on looking ahead. My wife and I can promise you: We will do everything to make our “mission” come true.

We guarantee you something that everyone on our little planet is longing for: entire well-being and warm and fuzzy feelings! We want you to feel good, comfident and at home and that you are in good hands.
